McLean, Virginia January 10, 2023 - Avineon, Inc. (Avineon®), is proud to announce that Alex Lopez-Rogina has been recognized as a Young Geospatial Professional to Watch in 2023 by xyHt magazine, a monthly print publication and online resource for geospatial and survey professionals.
Ms. Lopez-Rogina is a GIS Project Manager at Avineon, where she supports a variety of utility and government customers in Avineon's spatial intelligence and digital modernization practices. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is an active participant in the GIS Association of Alabama and URISA. She is also a certified Geographic Information System Professional (GISP) with more than seven years of experience using geospatial technology. Her previous awards include Young Professional of the Year from URISA in 2020 and Young Professional of the Year from the Alabama American Water Works Association in 2018.
