Description

Avineon is looking for a senior .NET Web Developer who is detail oriented, security minded, and passionate about maintaining a high quality code base, with the ability to compromise where needed. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to mentor team members.

 

As an experienced .NET Web Developer, you will share new ideas and collaborate on projects as you will play a critical role in helping the enterprise modernize its IT infrastructure. The team you will join is a high-performing Scrum team, and you will be expected to contribute and collaborate in meetings with the team and customer.

Skills and Experience

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in C# with a good working knowledge of the .NET ecosystem.
  • Familiar with a range of architectural patterns, especially microservices.
  • Expertise with web application development.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting/debugging skills.
  • Able to learn and apply new skills and concepts quickly.
  • Experience with technical documentation, especially related to regulatory compliance.
  • Works well in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred).
  • Passion for internal collaboration with code reviews and knowledge sharing.

 

 

Experience with some or all of the following are a plus but not mandatory:

 

  • Software architecture.
  • Familiarity working with SQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud, especially Azure Government cloud.
  • Front-end technologies, such as Angular 2+.
  • Enterprise identity management APIs and single sign on (SSO), especially OpenID Connect.
  • DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Work management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Experience working with distributed, scalable systems.
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with unit tests.

 

Languages/Tools: C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Entity Framework, Azure, Git, Angular, Visual Studio, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Docker/Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps/Kanban boards

Education and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • DOD IAT 2 certification or higher required (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, or SSCP).
  • Must be able to obtain Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or equivalent.
