SharePoint Online Administrator

Description

Avineon is seeking a SharePoint Online Administrator to add to our team. The successful candidate will work with the SharePoint team to ensure the policy and guidelines are met throughout development. The individual will ensure changes are implemented properly in the SharePoint Online environment, and that actions taken at the administrative level adhere to both client processes as well as Development-Security-Operations (DevSecOps) best practices. Furthermore, the individual will assist the SharePoint team in daily operations, and convey administrative aspects of SharePoint Online to the project team in support of analysis, development, testing, implementation, and operational maintenance. The SharePoint Online Administrator will have expertise in PowerShell and in the SharePoint Online UI environment to implement complex actions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop reusable PowerShell scripts to ensure consistent behavior throughout the lifecycle of the client M365 environment. Identify where automation of PowerShell scripts may be used to enhance and streamline performance and reduce unnecessary human-related risks of error.
  • Configure and manage M365 SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Assist in the management of the current SharePoint 2013 environment.
  • Configure and manage hybrid scenarios, as necessary.
  • Assist in the migration to M365 SharePoint and Teams.

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3+ years as a M365 SharePoint Administrator.
  • 5+ years as a SharePoint Administrator (Cloud and/or on-premises servers).
  • 3+ years of experience in writing, executing, and automating PowerShell.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure command-line interface (CLI) is desired.
  • Experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining M365, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Experience migrating from on-premises SharePoint to M365 SharePoint.
  • 3+ years of Agile, DevSecOps, and SDLC experience.
  • Microsoft 365 certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • An active Federal Government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) is preferred. Must have the ability to pass a financial/credit and background investigation.
