Sharepoint architect

Description

Avineon is seeking a SharePoint Architect to add to our team. This individual will provide full software lifecycle development, performance, support, and maintenance of SharePoint user applications, and will serve as the Applications and Integrations Team Lead. The role requires collaboration with the team to architect, plan, and manage delivery of solutions to the client to solve their business and mission needs. The SharePoint Architect will be required to manage solutions deployment and provide superior customer responsiveness and on time delivery. The SharePoint Architect will provide web development for applications for a federal government customer servicing approximately 90,000 users.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom components to the SharePoint environment.
  • Manage activities related to the physical server architecture, service architecture and documentation, custom application evaluation, and customer support.
  • Provides guidance to the customer organizations seeking to deploy configuration changes and make customizations to the customer environment.
  • Work with IIS/SQL and SharePoint technologies.
  • Participate in weekly CCB meetings, assess the upcoming changes, and provide appropriate recommendation to the customer executives.
  • Ensure the level of support provided to development initiatives and SharePoint configuration changes is appropriate.
  • Manage and assign trouble tickets to the team and monitor until closure.
  • Design and implement user friendly, modern, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
  • Create, document, and maintain functions and libraries to be used by team of developers.
  • Work with a team of developers to perform code reviews in order to apply and maintain coding standards, government security guidance, and industry best-practices.
  • Manage and configure SharePoint Farm environment.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience with architecting and engineering SharePoint platform solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience with technical project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in a SharePoint 2016 environment.
  • Experience with AvePoint/DocAve.
  • Experience with Nintex workflow and forms.
  • Experience with server-side and client-side SharePoint development.
  • Experience with advanced workflows, multi-group permissions, and sub-site management, enforcing visual and user interface (UI) or user experience (UX).
  • Experience with enhancing out of the box SharePoint using SharePoint Designer, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and client-side API.
  • Experience with web development in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and 2016, network engineering, SQL Server databases, and desktop applications.
  • Experience working with stakeholders designing optimal user interfaces.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with an ability to interact with multidisciplinary project team members and customer personnel.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the team while working remotely.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.


Security Clearance Requirement: Must be U.S. citizen and have an IRS MBI clearance.
