Awarded DCAA Enterprise Information Transformation Contract [ Contact Us ](https://www.avineon.com/en-us/contact) 12 December 2017 **McLean, Virginia** – December 12, 2017 – Avineon, Inc. (Avineon), a global provider of information technology, geospatial, and engineering support services, has been awarded a new contract with the U.S. Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, through an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the Consortium Management Group, Inc. (CMG). The purpose of this five-year contract is to transform the DCAA information infrastructure to improve the effectiveness of automated processes, ability to share data with other organizations, and cybersecurity posture. The contract was awarded through the U.S. Army Picatinny Arsenal, an internationally acknowledged hub for the advancement of armament technologies and engineering innovation.   DCAA provides audit and financial advisory services to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal entities responsible for acquisition and contract administration. DCAA operates under the authority, direction, and control of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller)/Chief Financial Officer. Through this effort, Avineon will support the DCAA Chief Information Officer (CIO) and staff in their efforts to design and deploy a prototype capability that will dramatically improve the functionality, consistency, interoperability, maintainability, and security of their business process automation and IT infrastructure. The solution, to be implemented over multiple phases of the contract, will be a complete enterprise environment into which all DCAA systems are integrated in a secure manner.   Avineon’s Vice President – Federal Systems, Eric Martin, remarked, “Securing information systems and infrastructures has been an ongoing and significant challenge for the federal government. It will continue to be so for years to come and ties in closely with the push to modernize federal IT assets. Not only are older systems more costly to maintain, they are also more difficult to secure. Avineon’s experience in these areas positions us to support DCAA and add value to their overall goals.”   **About Avineon®** Avineon, Inc. was founded to help you *Visualize IT* and *See IT Through*.
