Information Technology Overview

To accomplish this, we employ a proven CMMI Maturity Level 3 process to define the business and functional requirements that will take our clients from where they are today to where they want to be tomorrow and into the future. We use graphical modeling tools and industry-standards such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) to make it easier to work with end users and validate that their requirements are accurately represented. It also makes it much easier to reengineer or tweak processes for the best result.

Once our client’s objectives are defined, we “See IT Through”, working with clients to determine whether the required functions are better delivered by integrating Commercial or Government Off-The-Shelf (COTS, GOTS) systems, by developing a new system using J2EE or .NET technologies, by procuring an existing on-line IT service, or by some combination of choices.

In each case we use the right tools and the right design architecture to ensure that our client’s functional objectives are met while meeting all requirements for Security, Interoperability, Accessibility, and Scalability, including adherence to government and enterprise computing standards such as Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) recommendations and National Institute of Standards (NIST) security guidelines.
