Avineon’s cognitive network is an information processing architecture based upon a hybrid of a fuzzy logic, neural network, and Bayesian network approaches. The methodology involves intelligent analysis of data based on a network of human-expert provided rules and logic and learns from experience gained during operation. A cognitive network-enabled system can respond in intelligent ways to various stimuli and help automated agents make human-like decisions about their assigned tasks.
Despite the enormous power and potential of this architecture, the design is simple and can be implemented in systems with limited processing resources. Avineon is implementing this architecture to support a diverse array of applications including autonomous vehicles, document classification screening, analysis of warfare systems interoperability testing, swarm behavior simulation, and attack pattern recognition and prediction.
