Avineon and NorthWestern Energy to Co-Present at Intergraph 2009

Avineon, Inc., a provider of IT, geospatial, engineering, and program management solutions, will be participating in Intergraph 2009, a user group meeting showcasing the latest in Intergraph technology.

Intergraph 2009 presentations and activities will address solutions to current business and technology challenges facing industries including utilities, communications, defense and intelligence, government, and security.

During the conference, Avineon’s David Ridderikhoff will co-present “Upgrading to G/Technology – The Traditional Freeze is a Thing of the Past” with a representative from NorthWestern Energy (NWE). The presentation will feature Avineon’s data manipulation and re-alignment project that established and corrected connectivity remotely while NWE continued to maintain its geospatial information systems (GIS) information on a daily basis. During this project, Avineon developed a method of updating the current GIS information using Intergraph’s G/Technology software that limited disruptions of NWE's daily business. Avineon and NWE will provide details of the new methodology that helped change the rules of the traditional data conversion and maintenance for all current and future G/Technology customers.

In addition to the joint presentation with NWE, Avineon will be exhibiting at booth #37.
