Avineon Appoints Two Industry Veterans to Drive Geospatial and Engineering Business Development
Alexandria, Va. – Jan. 30, 2006 – Avineon, Inc., a successful provider of IT, geospatial, engineering and program management services, today announced the addition of Robert Pavlock and David Ridderikhoff as business development executives within the company’s geospatial and engineering divisions. With more than 45 years of combined technical and sales experience, Pavlock and Ridderikhoff will play a central role in driving business development and maximizing Avineon’s growth objectives and market opportunities. The announcement comes as the company celebrates its fourteenth year of consecutive growth and most profitable year to date, further positioning itself for continued expansion and increased customer growth.
Pavlock will focus on driving business development efforts in the process, power and offshore industries within Avineon’s engineering services division. He most recently served as director of sales for J.F. Ahern Co where he played an instrumental role in implementing direct sales strategies while establishing new business in the oil and gas, pulp and paper, process, municipal and power industries. Additionally, Pavlock has held positions at Mobil Steel, Pipe Supports USA, Piping Technology & Products, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries U.S. Bellows, Inc. and Sweco Fab, Inc. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Alvin Community College teaching environmental, safety and business management courses.
Ridderikhoff joins Avineon’s geospatial division where he will help expand the company’s presence in the utility market. He has more than 25 years of experience in the geospatial community, including senior management and consultant positions. His experience includes extensive project management and consulting with service engagements at both domestic and international firms. Ridderikhoff is also a frequent speaker at industry events including Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) conferences.
