Avineon Team Wins TIPSS-3 Contract

Alexandria, Va. – November 8, 2005 – Avineon, Inc. (Avineon), a provider of IT, engineering, geospatial and program management services, was awarded a Treasury Information Processing Support Services-3 (TIPSS-3) contract to provide information systems support to the Department of the Treasury and all of its bureaus. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will administer this five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, which has an estimated value of more than $495 million.

Under the contract, the Avineon team will provide expertise in all three TIPSS-3 functional areas, including Information Systems Services, System Security Services, and Strategic Business Services. Avineon is one of six small businesses awarded a TIPSS-3 contract and one of only two small businesses qualified to offer services in all three functional areas.

Avineon has provided high-quality IT services to the Department of Treasury since 1999, delivering full project life cycle support including legacy system migration, web-based development, and a range of information and network security functions. For TIPSS-3, Avineon adds a team of experienced subcontractors that provide a wide range of technical capabilities, all delivered via an integrated team approach aligned with CMMI Level 3 best practices.
