U.S. Small Business Administration selects Avineon to provide Information Technology Support Services

Alexandria, VA (January 20, 2003): Avineon, Inc. has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide information technology (IT) support services to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Under the three year BPA, Avineon will provide a wide range of systems and operational support services for IT maintenance, transition, and modernization efforts to promote more effective SBA program information sharing and dissemination.

"As one of the growing small businesses over the past 10 years, we are proud to support that mission and to lend our expertise in the implementation of state-of-the-art office automation, information management, and network technologies and applications at SBA," said Mr. Rambhala.

Charles Erdrich, Avineon's Vice President for Business Development, added that "Avineon and its subcontractors will maintain a continuous commitment to quality on this contract through application of our rigorous ISO 9001:2002 quality management processes. The goal is to achieve all contract objectives, including software engineering process improvements, performance measurement and metrics implementation, superior project management, increased contractor productivity, and attainment of all cost, schedule, and performance targets."
