19 In-Service Engineering, Fleet Introduction, Installation and Checkout Support (Zones 1 - 7)

19.1 AMSEC / SAIC (Zones 1, 4, 5)

Lead systems engineer and software developer for the Navy's mine warfare tactical decision aid. Supported shipboard in-service engineering assessments. Supported CVN 67 under the CEMAT effort and RM&A efforts for all ships.

19.2 LCE (Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7)

Participated in the redesign and retrofit of electronic governors and over speed devices due to parts obsolescence and EPA emissions requirement. The redesign effort has included development of drawings, procurement/testing of individual components to replace unavailable parts, and assembly/testing/grooming of the final design prior to installation.
