Avineon’s benefits are what you would expect from an industry leader—comprehensive and competitive; and you can customize many of these benefits to meet your own unique needs.

Most of these benefits are a part of a Flexible Benefits program. Avineon supports a certain level of benefit coverage for you.

Benefits At A Glance

Medical & Dental: Avineon offers Medical & Dental insurance coverage through a PPO health care provider for eligible employees, subject to approval by the insurance carrier. Upon eligibility, an employee may choose Health Insurance, Dental Insurance or a combination of the two. To assist employees with the cost of Health and Dental Insurance premiums, our company assumes responsibility for 100% of the employee's portion and 50% of the family's portion of the contracted premium. The employee's per pay period deductions are stated above. Upon election of an individual health and dental program, an employee will be responsible for the above stated premiums through payroll deductions. The plans have varying co-payments for (Brand Name) / (Generic) prescriptions per the plan descriptions. The plan's costs are subject to change.


Group Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance: Both Group Life and AD&D insurance is offered by Avineon at no cost to the employee. The coverage includes death benefits of 1X annual salary up to $180,000.00, for Group Life and a benefit of 1X annual salary up to $180,000.00 AD&D.


 
Supplemental and Dependent Life Insurance/AD&D: Supplement and dependent life insurance and AD&D is offered at group rates to employees. The costs are paid by the employee through payroll deductions. Employees can get up to $100,000 is coverage without medical underwriting and up to $300,000 (but not exceeding 5 times the annual salary) with medical underwriting.


 
Short Term Disability Insurance: Short Term Disability Insurance is offered by Avineon at no cost to the employee. The plan covers 60% of employees' monthly earnings up to a maximum benefit of $1,000 per week. The plan has an elimination period after the onset of the disability before benefits can begin.


 
Long Term Disability Insurance: Long Term Disability Insurance is offered by Avineon at no cost to the employee. The plan covers 60% of employees' monthly earnings up to a maximum benefit of $7,000 per month. The plan has an elimination period after the onset of the disability before benefits can begin.


 
 
401K Plan: Avineon offers a 401K Plan to full-time employees. The vesting period is six years. Avineon provides a matching contribution of 50% for each employee dollar up to 6% of salary.


   
 
Profit Sharing Plan: Avineon offers a Profit Sharing Plan to full-time employees.


   
 
Tuition Reimbursement: Avineon reimburses employees for continuing education expenses for job related courses. There is a yearly maximum per year.


   
 
Fitness Club Reimbursement: Avineon will reimburse employees for 50% of monthly dues up to specified monthly dollar fee.


   
 
Metrochek (VA): Avineon has a Metrochek deduction program, where employees can pay for Metro system fares with pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction.


   
 
Holidays & Personal Time: Full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays and paid Personal Time Off (PTO) after completing their introductory period.
