Position Title: Java Developer

Position Summary:
Successful candidate will be proficient in creating, testing and implementing J2EE compliant Java code on schedule.  Candidate will show ability to work in close coordination within the team, and with several diverse groups, to complete enterprise-level business missions.   Effective time management and workload estimation is a must for this individual. 
Position requires experience using the following technologies: JSP, EJB, Servlets, Javascript, Struts, Ibatis, Oracle, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, PL/SQL Jconn, and XML.
Required Experience/Skills:

• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop system/process designs
• 5 years experience developing complex web applications using J2EE technology
• Develop applications in Windows and Unix environments
• Integrate and develop applications associated with workflow or business process management
• 4-5 years experience with development in an Oracle database environment
• 4-5 years experience with complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• 4-5 years experience with object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns
• 4-5 years experience with Rational Unified Processes (RUP)
• Work with limited supervision

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Experience with ColdFusion, HTML and JavaScript
• Experience with Financial Data Systems
• Experience with PVCS Version Manager (VM) and Tracker
• Ability to mentor less experienced staff
• Sun certification
• Oracle certification

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering.

CLEARANCE:

• Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident of United States to obtain/maintain Security Clearance.
